deiadorebel · five albums · growing out of five books

The wave becomes sound.

Meaning, plainly: every poem in the Field Notes series is also a song — written at a piano, not prompted into existence. Five albums, eight songs each, one for every chapter of the five novellas. One album is already whole; the rest are becoming.

five albums in composition · composed first, produced second

Deiadora has been playing piano since she was six. Writing lyrics since eleven. Composing since fourteen. She studied music theory and composition at university before the rest of her life happened — and the songs kept coming anyway.

The songs in these albums were written the old way: at the piano, with chord charts, between 2016 and 2019, alongside the novellas they belong to. Album II was completed in full — recorded, finished, whole. The others exist as compositions: melodies, chords, and lyrics waiting for their sound.

Now they're being produced in collaboration with AI — a composer bringing finished songs to new tools, not a prompt asking for music. The compositions lead. The AI helps them arrive. If you've wondered what human-AI co-creation looks like when the human spent forty years learning her instrument first: this.
